1. For those who fail to reach the crowdfunding goal within the specified time, the raised amount will be reserved for next round of gobi walk which is usually 5 months later. For those who decide not to join the next round, the raised amount will be automatically refunded to the supporters’ accounts within 15 working days upon organizer’s receipt of refund application. Note that only the raised amount will be refunded,not the application fee.
2. Requests for early withdrawal during crowdfunding will not be accepted and will be processed uniformly by the system.
1. Once the system shows successful crowdfunding, the crowdfunding goal has been achieved. After successful crowdfunding, no refunds will be provided.
2. Successful crowdfunding implies that the participant has secured a spot in the event. In exceptional cases, participants can apply for a one-year extension or transfer the spot to someone else.

If a participant cannot participate for personal reasons, one can request a spot reservation from the organizing committee.
8-14 days before the race
If a participant cannot participate for personal reasons, one can request a spot reservation by paying the application fee. The reservation will be valid for one year and will not be allowed after the expiry date.
7 days before the race
If a participant cannot participate due to personal reasons, it will be considered an automatic withdrawal, the spot will be considered as used, and the supported amount will not be refunded.

- Communication and logistical support expenses during the event
- Safety support expenses during the event
- Cultural protection management expenses along the route during the event
